Pyjamas for children

Silves based Castelo de Sonhos charity received a donation of 24 boxes full of children’s pyjamas from British supermarket ASDA. Organised by Algarve resident Roger Cooper, who liaised with ASDA on behalf of the charity that helps children and families in situations of poverty and danger, the boxes were sent containing end-of-season pyjama stocks.

To make the delivery possible, PC Howard UK Transport transferred the pyjamas free of charge from an ASDA warehouse to Chelmsford, where Algarve Removals then transported the load from Chelmsford to their store in Alcantarilha, also free of charge. The charity would like to thank all involved in the “generous donation”.
