LUCIÈNNE WESSELS, owner of Bella, Shoes 4 Kids, has been fitting and selling shoes to the children of the Algarve since October 2006.
Having recently moved to larger premises at Rua Infante de Sagres in the centre of Lagos, Luciènne has the capacity to stock a wide range of funky, fashionable, quality and hard wearing shoes for children.
After struggling to find shoes for her daughter in the Algarve, Luciènne embarked on her successful project and now has shoes from Fiorucci, Primigi, Naturino, Agatha Ruiz, Oilily and Crocs adorning the shelves.
“Some shoes are so lovely I buy some women’s sizes as well,” Luciènne said, meaning that while mums are choosing for their kids, they can have a browse for themselves as well.
“I am now happy with my premises. I don’t want the shop to get too big and become impersonal. I like to give each customer my full attention,” she said.
Bella really is a child friendly shop. As well as toys for children to play with, there is a DVD player with a selection of children’s DVDs and paper and crayons to keep the little ones entertained. For the mums, there is an extra treat as well. Luciènne also stocks a selection of socks in the winter as well as belts, bags and other accessories to complete your outfit.
