Dog owners are being asked to take part in a second municipal dog walk organised by Loulé Câmara to take place on November 6.
The walk is aimed at all dog owners but those without a dog are also able to take part on the five kilometre route which will run along rural roads around Loulé.
The meeting point for the walk is the municipal sports pavilion in Loulé with those interested asked to arrive by 10am and the walk scheduled to finish by 12.30pm.
All dogs taking part need to be vaccinated and dewormed while those with a history of violence against other animals or humans are not permitted to participate for security reasons.
Entries for the walk need to be made before November 3 with those taking part with a dog being given a surprise gift.
Participation is free although organisers ask for everyone to bring a donation of food or other supplies to be given to the São Francisco de Assis kennels.
