LISBON CÂMARA president António Costa reopened the newly revamped puppet museum, Museu da Marioneta, on November 6.
The museum in Convento das Bernadas in Lisbon was originally founded in 1987 but was in a poor condition due to a lack of funds.
Lisbon Câmara recognised the national importance of the museum and helped fund the improvements.
