Politicians from all quarters of the political spectrum have joined forces to sign a manifesto appealing for the restructuring of Portugal’s public debt. Despite all the government’s assurances that we are “on the right track”, political thinkers like former PSD chief Manuela Ferreira Leite, former BE leader Francisco Louçã and CDS heavyweight Bagão Félix are firmly of the opinion that debt restructure is “the only way to get out of the crisis”.
