Pudsey Bear, who will be the star of the show at Centre Algarve’s Pudsey Fun Day on Saturday, August 3 from noon until 6.00pm, popped along to an East Algarve Walking Football session at the José Arcanjo Stadium, Olhão recently.
The players soon discovered that Pudsey was not a grizzly bear but a very lovable fellow who is helping to raise funds for the BBC Children in Need Appeal and raise awareness of Centre Algarve, which is fully equipped to cater for young people with special needs.
It will be a great opportunity for the public to meet the animals, including meerkats and exotic birds, an integral part of helping youngsters enjoy a carefree holiday, whilst supporting a worthwhile cause.
There will be something for everyone, including a fashion show, cream teas and Pimm’s, a beauty parlour, bouncy castle, magician, tombola, cake fair and BBQ, beer and wine tasting plus a free health check
The Algarve Centre is situation on the Olhão road approximately a kilometre from Moncarapacho.
