Slowly, slowly public services are ‘returning’ to the level of public service offered before restrictions brought in because of Covid-19. The government today confirms that it has given “orientations to all services of public administration that at least 50% of consultations with citizens should take place without the need for a prior appointment”. These orientations were given mid-November, minister of the presidency Mariana Vieira da Silva has explained, albeit citizens association ProPública has complained that it is still not happening in many areas.
