Following on from the ongoing investigation dubbed “Operation Red Card” (click here), Portugal’s public ministry has mounted a “megaoperation” of searches involving Porto Football Club this morning. The homes of various businessmen connected to the club are involved. The news has been broken by Sábado, which says suspicions of fraud, abuse of trust, and money-laundering are at issue, while Correio da Manhã says the focus is on a business deal with Altice over the sale of television rights.
