Residents of all nationalities living in Porches, Lagoa municipality, are invited to attend a special meeting and offer ideas and discuss the setting up and running of a new community centre.
The meeting has been called by the president of the Junta de Freguesia de Porches, Luís Bentes, for 6pm Wednesday, March 8 in the former administration office.
The president will be open to all suggestions on how and when the double-storey facility might be used by various groups or individuals for any sort of helpful social activity.
The centre is already equipped with computers and a small library. It would be well suited to language classes or various get-togethers by young and old.
All will be welcome at this initial ideas meeting.
