A 41-year-old psychiatric patient was arrested on Saturday after losing her temper with a woman doctor at Portimão Hospital and hitting her over the head.
Say reports, it’s unclear what set off the attack but “it may have been due to the long time waiting” for assistance.
The doctor suffered a head trauma, and the incident has sparked ‘alarm’ among colleagues, say reports, adding that the attacker now risks being sectioned.
