PSP helps tourists

AGENTS WITH the PSP (Public Safety Police) will receive training in a foreign language as part of a reorganisation aimed at providing better assistance for tourists in the Algarve.

Other initiatives include the opening of a new PSP branch in the old customs and excise Alfândega building near Vila Real de Santo António beach and the extension of the opening hours at the Praia da Rocha branch. According to Jorge Cabrita, commander of the PSP in the Faro district, the safety of the Algarve’s visitors is a priority for this police force.
