PSP Intervention Corp crackshots have reduced vigilance at Portuguese airports. National tabloid Correio da Manhã claims they no longer patrol 24/ 7 at either Lisbon, Porto or Faro due to staffing shortages. Their patrols – introduced as a result of the Paris terrorist attacks last November – are now restricted to two shifts, one in the mornings, one in the afternoons, says the paper, while rapid intervention agents will substitute.
