PSD want MPs to declare all memberships, including Masons and Opus Dei

Centre-right PSD has today supported a proposal by PAN (People Animals Nature party) to make it obligatory for MPs and those in public office to declare memberships to ‘secret organisations’, like the Masons and Opus Dei. As the law currently stands, MPs are given leeway over these kind of declarations. PS Socialists and PCP communists are believed to view the proposal as ‘disproportionate’ and even ‘excessive’.
