PSD to vote against ‘whitewash’ preliminary report on TAP inquiry

Portugal’s main opposition party, PSD, will be voting against the preliminary report of the TAP committee of inquiry, widely trashed as “a complete whitewash”. Said the party’s coordinator Paulo Moniz today: “In view of the content of the report, its serious omissions, the mitigation of guilt and the stance of the government and the Socialist Party, the PSD parliamentary group intends to vote against it and present other written conclusions” to be attached to the final report.
