PSD refuses future alliances with CHEGA

The leader of the Portuguese Social Democratic Party (PSD) has said that “no is no” and excluded the right-wing CHEGA party from any “political governance agreement” that might have to be made in the future, saying that “there’s no point in fuelling this issue any further”.

“I will never make a political governance agreement with CHEGA,” Luís Montenegro said at a press conference at the party’s headquarters, considering that he has been clear since the PSD Congress in the summer of 2022.
