THE LATEST meeting about the negotiations for the electrical pylons that are being constructed between Tunes and Portimão was again fruitless.
Representatives from the electrical company REN and Silves Câmara, including the Câmara President Isabel Soares, as well as residents opposed to the proposed pylon route, met on Monday at the Associação Nacional de Municípios, the national Câmara association, in Lisbon.
After the meeting Sergio Santos, a representative of the residents of Vale Fuzeiros, promised that there would be new protests in Lisbon as a solution was still far from being achieved. Isabel Soares said: “This has become a game of shifting the blame.”
