What an ugly plan Pestana has presented: it resembles a prison block!
Why did they not visit the Cottage Colonies in, say, Bermuda (Lantana springs to mind), South Africa or, indeed, our own Pedras d’El Rei, attractively laid out within gardens and no ‘blocks’?
I would not recommend this to any friend visiting the Algarve. I was already disappointed when visiting a pousada after they had taken over. The feeling of utter luxury had gone and it has soured my desire to visit more pousadas. Does anyone else agree?
