Almancilense were crowned champions of the 1st Division of the Algarve Football Association after beating Culatrense 2-0 in the final game of the season. Marquinho (50 ‘) and Tiago Sousa (71’) scored the all-important goals which see Almancilense return to the National Senior Championship, the top flight of non-league football, after an absence of eight years. Moncarapachense finished second, two points behind the champions, after beating Farense ‘B’ 2-1.
