It’s that time of year again when members of the community dress up as Santa to take part in the Armação de Pêra Father Christmas Walk.
Now in its third year, the walk is taking place this Saturday (December 6) at 11am along the town’s seafront promenade and organisers hope to raise food and money to be distributed to those in need. The walk will be led by Angelo Neto of UrbanGym.
Participants are asked to take food or monetary donations with them, “no matter how big or small”. Preferred items are olive oil and packets of milk, but any dried foods will be accepted.
All you need to do is turn up in Armação de Pêra in front of the Holiday Inn Algarve in your Father Christmas hat or outfit!
