You recently ran a competition for the Vale de Lobo concert. Regretfully the winner (hope he/she wasn’t ill) could not go, so, as second, we went!
As always, Carla Pontes was fantastic, emotion of character, pitch and the encore, superb notes. We are very lucky to have such professional standard entertainment in the Algarve, at prices that would seem ridiculously cheap in any other provincial area.
The day before there was a superb concert, and free, by the Algarve Orchestra, this week “Talking Heads” and how about panto, music and the Algarve Jazz Orchestra. We are very lucky and full marks to all concerned. To the Resident, thanks for the tickets.
