Prison guards’ syndicate ASCCGP has joined the growing dissatisfaction in the public sector pressure calling their own strike for November 12 to coincide with strikes on the same day scheduled by ‘Frente Comun – the confederation of public sector worker syndicates – and FNAM, the national federation of doctors. ASCCGP cites the ‘inertia, apathy and lack of consideration” given to the problems of the prison system by the Ministry of Justice.
