Algarve artist Glyn Uzzell is holding an exhibition at Galeria XXI in Portimão until tomorrow (January 12).
He is welcoming friends, art lovers and artists to see his original prints. Printmaking was for many years a fascinating form of creative art for Glyn.
In 1965, he studied printmaking at the Art Students’ League in New York. In 1966 he worked at Atelier 17 in Paris with William Hayter, who was considered the most innovative printmaker of his time. Glyn said: “I studied his revolutionary method for simultaneous colour printing, which I subsequently used in combination with my own techniques.”
Galeria XXI is located on Avenida São João de Deus 21A (opposite entrance to Portimão underground garage).
