Many of the Olhanense faithful will remember the exhilarating displays of Salvador Agra five years ago as the diminutive winger caused havoc amongst opposition defences. He was soon snapped up by Real Betis (Spain) but after various loan spells he signed for Nacional two seasons ago.
Agra scored 12 goals for the Madeira side with the most spectacular earning him the accolade of ‘Goal of the Season’ in the local derby against Marítimo. A spectacular overhead bicycle kick saw the ball fly into the top corner of the net.
Agra has joined Benfica but will gain valuable experience as the Eagles have loaned him to newly-promoted Desportivo Aves for the coming season.
