Portugal’s President, Aníbal Cavaco Silva, visited the new HPP Saúde private hospital in Albufeira on its official opening day last week.
The President took time from his Algarve holiday to visit the inauguration, also attended by Desidério Silva, president of the Câmara of Albufeira, Martins dos Santos, president of the Regional Health Board for the Algarve, HPP director João Martins, plus Norberto Rosa and Magalhães Correia, the president and vice-president of Caixa Seguros e Saúde, all of which praised the new establishment.
Following the opening, on August 22, t Minister of Health, Paulo Macedo, also made an appearance at the new hospital.
