President to award Volodymyr Zelenskyy with one of Portugal highest honours

President Marcelo has announced through his official website that he will be awarding Ukrainian president Voldymyr Zelenskyy with one of Porutgal’s highest honours, the Grande-colar da Ordem da Liberdade. The decision follows a suggestion from PAN to honour the Ukrainian leader after what is now coming close to a year of Russian invasion. Explain reports, Marcelo had been intending to make the announcement on the year’s anniversary of the conflict (February 24), but PAN’s initiative brought the moment forwards.
