The Portuguese need to be proud of the country’s entrepreneurs and not just of the footballers, said the President of Portugal on Monday.
Cavaco Silva was speaking at a conference entitled ‘Youth and the Future of the Economy’, which was attended by around 50 young entrepreneurs.
He believes a change in mentality is needed because Portugal’s entrepreneurs are not being appreciated by the society and there are too many obstacles standing in the way of good business ideas and economic growth.
