A commission to preserve and regenerate the historic centre of São Brás de Alportel has been set up by the Câmara. Consisting of 12 members, the commission will oversee the master plan to revitalise the São Brás de Alportel town centre. The commission includes câmara representatives, members from the archaeology department and local associations and entities working to preserve the town’s historic heritage.
