THE BRITISH Embassy is remodeling its consular / visa public counters to accommodate the new equipment for capturing biometric fingerscans for visas to the UK.
Staff will be operating the consular and visa service from one counter only from January 29 to February 12 and as a result, visa application numbers will be restricted.
The embassy, which has apologised for any inconvenience caused during the work, advises British nationals wishing to renew their passports to consider submitting their application by post or delaying their application until the work is complete.
