Premier FX announces growth initiatives to enhance customer service

Premier FX, a currency exchange company with offices in Portugal, Spain and the United Kingdom, is implementing new initiatives to provide more services to existing customers, while attracting new private and corporate clients. Key activities taken recently include the rollout of a new website and branding strategy, and the addition of new positions company-wide.

“With concerns over the stability and security of financial institutions foremost on consumers’ minds, I felt our branding should be responsive,” said PFX owner and chief executive Peter Rexstrew. “We’ve developed a new campaign around the tag line, ‘It’s your money…’. We believe these three brief words fully acknowledge our commitment to our clients.”

Premier FX’s new website mirrors this sentiment. Content is now more straightforward, imagery is more compelling and navigation is simpler.

The site is also the gateway to the new PFX Online. “ is a starting point for our digital experience with our customer,” said Rexstrew. “Our PFX Online system allows users to upload their details into a secure environment and request currency trades at any time of day or night. It’s fast and user-friendly.”

Another key initiative is the addition of staff across the company. In Mallorca, PFX veteran Nick Jones has been named managing director. In the Algarve, marketing and internet consultant Greg Boegner has been appointed European marketing director. New account directors include Chris Mudd and Sharon North in the Algarve office, and Severine Edmundson and Julian Defreitas in Mallorca.Long time currency executive Rick Davies has been added to the company’s London office.

On the schedule for launch in 2016 is the Premier FX Prepaid Currency Card. “This new product, available in euros or US dollars, is a simple, safe and secure way for consumers to carry money during travels, while still enjoying excellent exchange rates”, said the company.
