After a 20-year legal battle, and endless stand-offs, the demolition of ‘eyesore’ Prédio Coutinho is finally underway in Viana do Castelo. The work should take around six months to complete after which time the municipal market promised by PS Socialists in the year 2000 will finally start taking shape.
