SOME AREAS in Loulé, Tavira and Albufeira will be without electricity for a few hours on Sunday (February 17) as power company EDP carries out essential repairs.
In Loulé, parts of Quarteira will be without power from 9am until around 10am and will affect the following buildings: Lyra, Cruzeiro do Sul, Comercial Marina, Comercial Marina Plaza, Sírius, Altair, Orion.
Urbanisations affected will be Marina Plaza and Vila Lusa Marina, while Tivoli and Tivoli V Moura Praia avenues will also be cut off. Also, between 11am and noon, the Villas Couto Real urbanisation will be affected.
In Tavira city, power will be out on Rua de Santa Ana, Pegada, Rua Escada Alto de Santa Ana, Travessa Santana, Rua Borda d’Água da Asseca, Praça António Padinha, Rua Gaspar Corte Real, Rua António Pinheiro and Rua de Limpinhos between 8.30am and 1pm.
Ferreiras, in Albufeira, will be affected in Cotovias between 8.30am and 12.30pm.
EDP said that it was possible that the works due to be carried out could last until 3pm on Sunday.
