Positive energy from Penguin

In these tough economic times it’s more necessary than ever to minimise home energy bills. Out-dated and inefficient heating systems are increasingly costly to run as energy prices rise.

Today’s energy-efficient technology represents an evolutionary step forward, offering effective results, low running costs and an excellent return on investment. Such systems also add value and marketability to a property.

Since opening for business in 2008 with a team of four, Penguin have evolved from just air-conditioning to a range of energy-efficient technologies: solar, photovoltaic, heat pumps and heat exchangers; applied to various aspects of cooling and heating – underfloor, radiators, pools, domestic water etc.

Today, the company’s 14-strong team embraces Portuguese-certified building and electrician skills with all the resources in-house for a broad range of projects. This year, the business relocated to new premises with improved customer reception and display areas, plus expanded technical facilities.

“Nowadays we’re into all aspects of energy-efficiency for home heating and cooling”, says Penguin’s director and technical advisor, Chris Blackburn.

“We’re seeing a growing demand for solar systems for domestic water heating which, in one of the sunniest regions in Europe, makes absolute sense. Now we’re promoting a revolutionary new system from Solcrafte – an integrated panel-and-tank unit, more aesthetically pleasing than conventional systems, easy-to-install and competitively priced.

“We’ll have it on display at the BliP exhibition – come see for yourself!”

Visit Penguin at the BliP exhibition, stand number 168, by the main entrance.
