Parkalgar CEO Paulo Pinheiro says the Algarve International Autodrome in Portimão remains positive about what 2012 has in store.
“2012 is a difficult year to predict, but at the Autodrome we are confident that we can overcome adversity and make the best use of our past achievements here,” he told the Algarve Resident.
Since opening in 2008, the autodrome has received both national and international awards, including the most recent World Championship Superbike Organiser Award 2011 (See Algarve Resident edition December 9).
Reflecting on these awards, Paulo said that they “make us extremely happy and provide a feeling of accomplishment. We see these distinctions as a team success”.
The Autodrome has confirmed that 50% of its occupancy for 2012 has already been achieved.
“A very attractive sports programme will be released soon,” said Paulo Pinheiro.
