Albufeira Wine Show

Portuguese Wine Show returns to Albufeira

The event is once again promoting some of the best national wines

The Portuguese Wine Show is back in Albufeira this month. The event is organised by the Confraria do Bachus de Albufeira in partnership with Albufeira council.

After two years of interregnum due to the restrictions imposed by the pandemic, the event is once again promoting some of the best national wines, creating a unique opportunity to taste the increasingly appreciated flavours of our wines in the same space.

The presence of some of the big national brands is guaranteed, as well as some small productions that cannot be found in the usual sales channels. This is also one of the secrets of the event’s success, as it is an excellent opportunity to taste and acquire new brands and references.

The show takes place between May 12 and 14 at EMA – Espaço Multiusos de Albufeira. On May 12, the doors are open from 3pm to 8pm. On the 13th and 14th, the show closes one hour later, allowing wine lovers to taste the wines between 3pm and 9pm.

Gastronomy and music are also present, with the latter being by Grupo Coral Casa do Alentejo Albufeira on May 13 and 14 at 5.30pm.

The event also features a Wine Contest that will award the best wines at the event.

Entrance to the Portuguese Wine Show is free, but in order to taste the wines, visitors must buy the official glass, which costs €5.

This is already one of the great national exhibitions of its kind, with more than 100 exhibitors and 9,000 participants in its last edition.
