Portuguese wine exports are on the rise, having grown 10% in the first half of 2017 compared to the same period last year.
According to Dinheiro Vivo website, the boom was even more considerable in non-EU countries (+25%), with Angola (+136%), Brazil (+79%) and China (+29%) among the main emerging buyers.
Secretary of State for Agriculture and Food, Luís Vieira, says Portuguese wines are being progressively more “recognised abroad for their quality and diversity”.
