Portuguese actress and TV host Cláudia Vieira will take part in the inauguration ceremony of IKEA’s Designer Outlet today (November 23) at 5pm.
The stunning celebrity is the guest of honour of an event that will finally see the IKEA complex in Loulé running on all cylinders. Other public figures will also take part.
“Having Cláudia Vieira associated with Designer Outlet Algarve on such an important and special day makes us proud because we will have with us the perfect personification of the sophisticated and classy spirit of our outlet,” said Miguel Guerreiro, general manager of the outlet.
Described as the “biggest fashion outlet in the Algarve and the first in Europe to be integrated in an IKEA store”, the outlet will feature over 50 fashion and lifestyle brands running “permanent discounts of up to 70%”.
The open-air outlet, managed by ROS Retail Outlet Shopping, will cover a 17,000sqm area with architecture “inspired by typical Algarvean villages”.
During the opening ceremony, everyone will be able to take part in a competition to win a week in New York for two people, a weekend at Disneyland Paris or two nights at the Conrad Algarve Hotel.
