Portuguese tourist in coma after being punched by Spanish waiter in Magaluf

A Portuguese holidaymaker has become the latest victim of party-time excesses in the Spanish resort of Magaluf. The 25-year-old was knocked out cold last week by a punch from a Spanish waiter. He is understood to have hit his head on the floor. The young man remains in a coma in Son Espaces hospital. His aggressor has been ordered to report to police every two weeks while investigations are ongoing.
