Portugal’s Parliament will be dissolved on January 15. The announcement was made today by Parliament President, Augusto Santos e Silva.
“We all agreed that it no longer makes sense to have bi-weekly and sectorial debates at this point, but we will maintain European debates if there are European meetings that require prior parliamentary discussion,” he said.
Nevertheless, Santos Silva explained that the 2024 State Budget process will continue until it is complete.
