News that a son of Portuguese migrants living in France was one of the 18 “executioners” caught in a gruesome video showing the decapitation of Syrian soldiers is being investigated. Michael dos Santos, 22, has also posted photographs of himself online, standing with one foot on the decapitated head of a victim. According to a source tracking Portuguese jihadists, dos Santos is not thought to have had anything to do with Islamist converts from the Linha de Sintra area.
