27-year-old computer engineer Filipa Rocha has come second in the Young Inventors category of the European Inventor Award 2023 today, at a ceremony in Spanish Valencia, where she presented a project to help visually impaired children learn to program and acquire digital skills. Filipa presented the work developed using Lego pieces and a small robot through technology tested during the pandemic. Her objectives were to improve education and reduce inequalities, writes Lusa.
