Portuguese duo makes Forbes’ 30 under 30 list

Portuguese entrepreneurs Tiago Paiva and Cristina Fonseca have been featured in Forbes’ magazine for achieving “massive success” with their startup company TalkDesk.

Paiva, 29, and Fonseca, 28, were included in the ‘Enterprise Tech’ sector of Forbes’ ‘30 under 30’ lists, which shine the spotlight on under 30s who have built successful careers or achieved great accomplishments in their lines of work. There are 20 lists for different areas/sectors, with a total of 600 people receiving accolades.

The Portuguese duo’s company is based in Silicon Valley, California and offers “easy to use” call centre software.

“Since its founding in 2011, TalkDesk has experienced 10x revenue growth year-over-year,” the magazine points out, stressing that the company has become one of the “fastest growing startups in Silicon Valley”.

“It has raised more than $24 million over the last year from Salesforce Ventures, DFJ, Storm Ventures, and 500 startups,” Forbes adds.
