Portuguese dairy farmers to receive €4 million to reduce milk production

A statement from the agriculture ministry has explained the money comes from a €500 million EU package designed to be shared by 28 member states. National dairy farmers will also receive other benefits, to be outlined after discussions with the sector’s “crisis office”.
