ENROLMENT INTO Portuguese courses at four fluency levels is now open to anyone wishing to learn or improve their linguistic skills at the Centro de Línguas de Lagos.
Each group course is composed of 30, 50-minutue lessons, with a maximum of eight students per course.
Beginners’ classes will start on January 8 and finish on February 9. Lessons will be held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 11.10am to 1pm. There is also a beginners evening class, which will run from January 15 to March 21. Classes will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7.10pm until 8.25pm.
The next fluency level is pre-intermediate and courses will run from January 8, until February 26 every Monday and Wednesday, from 11.10am until 1pm. Intermediate classes begin on January 23 and end on March 15. Lessons will take place every Tuesday and Thursday from 11.10am to 1pm.
The language school also offers individual courses and each lesson is priced at 25.50 euros. The school is offering a two for the price of one deal on individual tuition so if you and a friend are keen to learn Portuguese then this may be the more appropriate choice.
Course books cost 20.50 euros each and are used during the first three courses from beginner to intermediate. Workbooks are priced at 10.20 euros and these books are available for purchase at the language school.
There is an annual enrolment fee of 15 euros and each group course at all levels is priced at 234 euros. Spaces on the beginners’ courses in particular are known to be snapped up quickly so it is better to register as soon as possible.
