I would like to say congratulations! I quite enjoyed your review of Brandymel and the Cristina Family (‘A tradition that remains in the Algarve region’ August 2007).
It was very interesting and I am wondering why none of that small 15 percent of export is making its way to Ontario-Canada?
The Toronto Ontario and the G.T.A. (Greater Toronto Area) have one of the largest Portuguese communities in Canada and long for a taste of their homeland (as far as liquor goes).
Again congratulations on an excellent review/ story.
