A 42-year-old Portuguese businessman reported missing in Venezuela last month has been found by police “decapitated and with his hands cut off”.
Carlos Gouveia went missing on May 23. According to reports, he was found in the Guaire River five days later, although his family was only informed by police this week.
Authorities suspect Gouveia was murdered by one of his tenants.
