After weeks of mostly rainy weather, Portugal is expecting skies to clear up for this Valentine’s Day weekend.
Although the country is still under a strict lockdown, the prospect of clearer skies will certainly help raise the spirits of those who are confined at home.
Portugal’s sea and atmosphere institute (IPMA) predicts partially cloudy skies throughout the country for Saturday and Sunday, meaning the sun will likely shine through most of the day.
Warmer temperatures are also expected, with maximums to reach 20ºC in Faro and minimums unlikely to drop below 9ºC.
As local meteorology Facebook page Meteofontes put it, “the weather will be great for washing and drying clothes!”
