Portugal’s Covid swings and roundabouts reporting continues today with reports of 13 further deaths in the last 24-hours and 3,452 new cases. As always, no mention is ever made of the general health/ age of victims, nor is much made of the number of recoveries. Focus is always on the ‘bad news’ aspect, which today comes in the form of ‘deaths in double figures once again’ and an ‘increase’ in the number of daily cases (which always comes on Wednesday as figures ‘catch up’ with the lag in testing over the weekend).
