SONAE’S BELMIRO de Azevedo continues to be the only Portuguese to make the list of the richest men and women in the world.
Forbes US list annually publishes the top 500 richest men and women worldwide. The Portuguese businessman was in 407th position, falling 57 places despite his 1.8 billion euro fortune.
Microsoft president, Bill Gates, is the richest man in the world for the 13th consecutive year, with a fortune of 43 billion euros.
