Portugal’s Minister for Agriculture is the most popular in the Pedro Passos Coelho government, having received the only positive mark in a recent survey.
Assunção Cristas, who is also in charge of Sea, Environment and Spatial Planning, was the most popular minister, with a mark of 11.4 (from 0 to 20) in a survey conducted by Correio da Manhã/Aximage earlier this month.
All other government ministers were rated negatively by those surveyed, with the least popular being Minister for Economy and Employment, Álvaro Santos Pereira, with a mark of 5.8.
Other poorly rated ministers included the Minister for Foreign Affairs Paulo Portas (9.9), Minister of Finance Vítor Gaspar (9.1) and Minister for Home Affairs Miguel Macedo (8.4).
