Portugal’s Banco de Fomento (Development Bank) has today opened two lines of credit to support the economy to the tune of €1.1 billion.
The money is available for industry, tourism and events and other sectors “affected by the pandemic crisis”, reports Lusa – the idea being to help save jobs.
Both credit lines are available for micro, small and medium sized businesses, as well as for the self-employed – with the “possibility to convert 20% of the loan to a non-refendable grant”.
